Welfare Work in a Secret Society

These notes concern the attempt to convey welfare instruction through the medium of the Bundu Woman's Society, among the Mende, Temne and other tribes of the Protectorate of Sierra Leone. The author was partly instrumental in starting the work, five years ago.
