An Introduction to African Prehistory
This subject has been much in the news in the last few years especially after the Nairobi conference of 1947, for many people believe that the Continent may contain the "missing link" between man and ape, once so famous a subject for speculation. Mr. Arkell is archaologist to the Sudan Government, and also Lecturer in Egyptology at University College, London. His lecture was delivered at a combined meeting with the Royal Empire Society on the 27th October, with Sir Hubert Huddleston in the Chair.
