Penal Reform in South Africa

Rev. HENRI PHILIPPE JUNOD

The name of Junod, with that of Mabille and many another, commemorales the link between the French (and Swiss) Protestant Churches and South Africa. The Rev. H. P. Junod is a worthy descendant of a famous family, for he has lived with, worked with and written about several tribes, and is now active in one of the fundamental fields of racial relations. No one who heard his lecture, under the chairmanship of Sir William Fitxgerald, on the 26th October, will ever forget the combination of authority and sincerity with which it was delivered.
